Paul Cross Blanchard - Creator
Paul started the Washington Art Movement in 2007. Over the years, he has amassed thousands of hours volunteering for Washington Elementary, including directing fifteen student movie projects.
Professionally, Paul is an award-winning copywriter who operates
his own advertising agency: paulblanchardcreative.com
His resume includes multiple national and international awards,
as well as, a degree in Psychology from UW Seattle.
Alice Goodwin Lynch - Instructor
Alice has been teaching and creating curriculum for the Washington Art Movement since its inception. She brings to the program a wide variety of art and design experience, from being the Senior Graphic Designer for REI to teaching portrait drawing at Open Arts Studio here in Tacoma. Her impressive education experience includes graduating Cum Laude in Fine Arts from Missouri State University, plus seven years of intense study at the prestigious Gage Academy in Seattle.
